FNB announces enhancements to its eBucks Rewards loyalty programme

PNP sells the same Jacob coffees as checkers/woolies..why wouldn't you want 30% back..same with other non perishables...And I get 13x my bank charges back in ebucks:)
Plus no one is stopping you from getting the stuff from the other shops if need be. It's not like it's rocket science, shop where you want, but if you want rewards try make it more at PnP

Hold the bus - are you saying that if you have eBucks, you can still go into a Woolwoths or Checkers or store?
What about filling up at Sasol? Would that be alllowed too?

Nope, you're forced to fill up at Engen, plus forced to shop at Spar and PnP, forced I tell you... They block all other purchases being made anywhere else.

I worry that they mention gamification. I've currently got it set up that I don't have to do anything every month and I stay on level 5. I don't want to do all kinds of activities and things.

*edit*

Actually, I see the rules are out. Will go have a look.

Yeah how ridiculous was that email that doesn’t even have a link in?

And then it’s an image too so you can’t just copy and paste.

Absolute amateur hour.
Just went to check ebucks in the app. Click ebuck. Screen pops up saying new rules are on the way. There's no way to exit the screen other than to double-tap back twice to exit.

Well I just had to click "Learn More" but then that went absolutely nowhere and I just got the usual Current Reward Level or Next month's progress options.

iOS.

I don't shop at PnP and get at least R1,700 out a month, sometimes over R2,000.

Rules don't seem any more different to last year, in fact it seems easier with more head room.
But they forcing you to shop at PnP forcing you man...

I don't even get a learn more button. You must be higher ebucks level.

I mean don’t get me wrong, switching to PNP was braindead on their part but I actually wonder if Checkers didn’t just kick them to the curb.

Then again Checkers switching to Standard Bank is equally braindead.

Honestly there wasn't any other retailer to really switch to. Checkers did seem to be getting a bit to big for their breaches as well :-). But we will see, I just get the essentials that cost the same from ASAP and still shop elsewhere for other stuff.

I tried to use ASAP once and it was such an abomination to find things and just didn’t have the logical flow that Sixty60 does.

Much like their stores really because every time I have used one for lack of other options under duress just nothing makes sense and I struggle for ages to find things.

Not to mention every single time I’ve ever bought meat at P&P it has been off.

I actually prefer ASAP, can pick the store to shop from, there are about 7 stores around me, so can pick a Hyper and get the Hyper specials or a smaller branch, so can also pick ones that have better meat and such. Plus the flow has been improved over time, but yeah biggest factor is literally being able to choose the store + deliveries right up till 9pm.

But Sixty60 is the same for me? I can also choose the hyper or normal store.

In fact I can have both at the same time but then different stuff comes at different slots.

Not up to 21:00 though, that’s quite a decent win there.

No I mean literally the exact store, not just a Hyper or a normal. As in if I want from say Northgate Hyper I can select that, or I want Clearwater mall cause they have X. Plus the Hyper vs the normal is the same delivery fee and the same time period so no real change there.
Which means I can also look through shops if some say they are out of stock for something, just change store and check if they have it.

Can say the same about loyal customers who already have home loans.

But no we’ll give bonuses to the new arrivals who are switching.
When you got a home loan direct they gave you R7,500 in eBucks. Don't know if switching was included.

I was in the process of switching two bonds from ABSA to FNB anyway, so not complaining.

Nah I had my home loan way before that, which is why I’m having a moan now that switchers are being included.
