Binance pay gaining serious traction in South Africa

Crypto payment service Binance Pay is rapidly gaining traction in South Africa, allowing its users to integrate digital assets into everyday transactions.

Binance told MyBroadband that South Africans have spent R29.8 million at Binance Pay merchants so far this year.

Just how much porn are you people buying with Bitcoin? Or is that doggy style with Dogecoin?

I don't own crypto, don't have a crypto wallet, and don't know what I'd want to buy in my life with crypto if I did.

...

I fear this might be the first sign that I'm getting old. I don't get the fuss.

Many online marketplaces that sell IPTV etc. are moving to crypto only.

No ways bra, just how many billionaires do we have in South Africa? Surely there were thousands of hopeful South Africans who bought at least R100 of Bitcoin lol, I don't see that many Ferraris on the road now. Or have they all moved abroad already?

EDIT, ok I asked Gemini and got something good. I wonder how that guy who spent 10 000 BTC on pizza feels about that investment today lol:

That's because they sold it when it was R200. Yeah that pizza guy probably offed himself.

I feel you. Though I had extra cash took a gamble and it ended up paying off. Settled 80% of bond with crypto profits.

I still dont know how to buy things with crypto and I dont understand how crypto works I treated it like an ETN and it worked

wait ... what?!?

"Binance Pay" is just another MoneyBadger collab, Binance Pay is not "gaining traction", crypto payments is gaining traction through the pioneering efforts of MoneyBadger and early adopter large retail chains like PnP

Luno, VALR, Binance all help drive it, but that is merely enabling their customers to spend crypto from their wallets, the bit that matters is the retail store side of things i.e. MoneyBadger
