Football Banter Thread (2nd Half)

This would kill the matchgoing/watching experience. Why celebrate a goal when you could get docked points hours/ days later

he never said that the penalty should include the match that was already decided - he was saying that the person committing the foul gets given points which when reaching a predetermined total means that this person then misses a predetermined number of games (kind of like a red card) ie so if you commit three fouls that the ref missed OR proven Dives then you miss a game (this is the concept that he proposes even if the number of fouls, dives or games missed have not yet been determined)

the idea of the concept is that it will make the cheating easier to be eradicated because you make the player afraid of consequences of diving or cleverly committing fouls

I said this years ago. But a demerit point system is far too soft. If you commit fraud by faking a foul, and your team gets awarded a penalty and wins, you should be banned for a number of games. This kind of thing can affect progression in league, getting into Europe etc. Potentially huge financial consequences for false penalties or red cards being given.

The cheaters need to be punished.

i agree - nowadays even one game that is decided by an error in decision making affects huge amounts of money as well as time and effort put in by the clubs that the decision was detrimental to, and players who were sent off because some other sod was simulating ..... nowadays the refs need to be able to see the playacting in time

i mean check this load of utter nonsense in the Champions league final

and every Arsenal fan is screaming about the referees and wanting a penalty and for weeks they still brainlessly talking about the incident without knowing exactly what hapened ..... well IMHO the referee did Arsenal a favor - this was a total foul by Madueke and he should ave been sent off for simulation - this is the type of situation where the player must get penalised for simulation and his demented manager needs to also be carded

BTW this is not just random guy - this video is from the referees channel

Didn’t take long for Arsenal Derangement Syndrome to poke its head out 😂😂

Calling that simulation and calling for him to be sent off is peak simpleton behavior

A coming together.

Sorry. Anyone who thinks this is “simulation” is either trolling or…
Hooking his arm into the defender to simulate holding is well... What's the word im looking for. It escapes me right now. Will get back to you

Imagine going through life as a professional sportsman trying to fake a foul.

I think the world cup will be a litmus test on the state of diving, which has reached stupid levels of stupidity

A coming together.

You’ve obviously never battled at full speed for a ball, and that’s fine.

Sorry. Anyone who thinks this is “simulation” is either trolling or…

you clueless guys wanted a penalty for that "coming together" ...... is that what you call it when the demented moron hooks his arm into the arm of another player and jumps forward and drops both of them then claims a penalty - that is outright cheating .....nothing else - it is just cheating and every Arsenal fan going on the last two weeks about "we wuz robbed" are a bunch of deluded chootiyas

Yes, you must of inferred this from the multiple times I said "we should defintately have gotten a pentalty for that".
Nice of you to quote my posts where I said that too 🙏
You're so smart for a bumbling idiot

"demented moron" - and this is why no one in life respects you - you communicate like a 12 year old:thumbsup:

keep crying about Arsenal, it's just further proof that they are the de facto biggest club in the world

nope - only the club with the biggest delusional morons supporting them - in fact one premier league win after 20 years does not make you big at all ..... City just did 4 in a row not long ago

is that the same one you Arsenal tw@ttys wanted given to the undercooked Rice with his 4 goals and 5 assists for the season - i will say it again - what retards you lot are
Just go offline and enjoy the 2 trophies you have in 9 years vs Arteta's 4 in 6 years. you absolute mong.

I guess that’s why he’s now flexing City’s wins 😂😂😂

so if you want me to flex Uniteds achievements - well ..... we have 20 in total - come back and see me when your bunch of ar5es have 20 (only Liverpool in the Premier League can reply to that one - your lot wont be able to in my lifetime)
