Anyone else find this game pretty mid . Ok at best, not giving me nearly the rush as doom eternal. or even the all round awesomeness of 2016. Glad i got it on gamepass

I actually thought this was a massive step up from Piñata Doom (DE). However, its a lot better if you at least are playing with at least max aggression and 130% game speed. Otherwise it's Doom The Walking Dead. At least its not just another stutter unreal 5 engine simulation and idtech 8 is looking great as a whole.

Not the first time i heard upping the speed helps, ill give it another go

Well, see if there is a combination that makes it instead of breaks it. However, once you've turned on speed and aggression you may find you can't play the base settings anymore.

OK so played it a bit.

I played DA up to a point and then it just stopped being doom. Idk perhaps this game is just too busy for it's own good?

I'll probably try again and see if I like it more a 2nd time at a later stage.

Everyone can now have a good laff: Returned to DA on GmG special at 560 for base + dlc.

For now, what I needed was just shooting **** up. This is now fufilled.
