DOOM: The Dark Ages

Those requirements are insane, hopefully they release a less monster spec required patch or something down those lines.

Yeah, lol. I will probably just do what I did with Doom Eternal. As hard as it was, I waited several years to play it until I had a decent computer. Did the same for Witcher 3 actually. I thought that waiting for a decent computer to run the games the way they meant to be was preferable to trying to play it in a reduced capacity, just for the sake of playing it. Also, I'd think that waiting allows them to release patches and updates to improve gameplay and iron out any bugs, so when I do eventually play it however many months (or years) down the line, I will get the best possible experience.

Just look up benchmarks of Indiana Jones on a PC with similar specs to yours and you'll know more or less how Doom is going to run.

Official trailer released

Hmm. I still don’t like the fantasy angle they brought into the franchise… Doom was straight up futuristic sci-fi and Quake was the fantasy/sci-fi hybrid. I’ll probably play it at some point, I just don’t think it’s “Doom”.

Yeah, also meh on it. Will probably just add it to my Steam wishlist and pick it up on sale in due course.

2016 and Eternal led up with this lore thing. I don't think it really matters cause you can skip the cutscenes.

Well aware of that… Still not a fan of shields, magic skull guns and so on instead of BFG9000s, Plasma rifles and chainguns.
