Funny how South Africans will support any soccer team besides Bafana and it's okay. But if I decide to wear a All Blacks jersey, I'm suddenly a racist.

Meh, people here where I live don't dislike the team. A Cape Crusader is a whole other thing. Obviously you can wear the black, but it is the attitude that you will carry that matters.
 
If they lose it is only because they are nice to the home side.

You lean in with a prediction of losing, I might still forgive that ... but go in with 0-6 like somebody did and you can suck a small bag of dicks.

Mexico ranked 14th, SA 60th, that's a significant gap. The thing with soccer though, rankings often mean very little on the day.

So, for obvious reasons, Mexico go in as strong favourites. Not only ranked much higher but home fixture too.

If SA can grind out a draw, that would be a fantastic result for them. Personally, I'm hoping for a draw....
