I want to access a directory on my pc

Did anyone notice what rigmarole you have to go through to access anything on your pc.
"my computer" now only shows my 2 cloud drives and nothing else,.
don't know how i would access my files without total commander.
**** windows, i`m done, it`s like trying to access your own pc through a **** browser like bing.+++

sorry operating system i`ve been using since childhood....... but may i please see my drives?

christ... when i press win+f istead of "find" it goes to "feeedback hub" no one ever in their lifetime wanted to use feedback hub
 
Im sure they have meetings on how to increase the number of clicks to get to the local storage/settings and make people give in to the cloud/subscription services.

Ja - I also find it increasingly tedious to get things done on Windows 10 and now 11 as well.

idk - I none of these issues and I only use everything, windows explorer and sometimes anydesk to remote to my workbox. I have to wonder wtf are you folks doing with and to your boxes.

The amount of hoops I had to jump through to properly disable windows defender a while back was crazy. I understand having safeguards in place, but if I disable defender and even do some regedit to disable it and it still runs in the background preventing me from installing something...

Previous windows felt a lot more: "Sure - this is a bad idea but if you want to do it go ahead."

Then use unix or linux… at some point if tool doesn't fit stop bitching about it and move on?
 
I mean Jesus if you can't even share a folder or nowadays prompt how to do it properly then maybe this isn't your speed and need irl help instead of triggering yourself into a QQ thread
