Yeah people also very bullish on Sk Hynix. Can't remember the other company but regulations in South Korea have changed so companies now need to buy back shares which should be very bullish for price action of top companies. Definitely buying Samsung and Sk just need to do a bit more due diligence.

Anybody still holding sasol?
I think it's heading back to R155
I took out my initial investment.
Was going to sell some more this morning. But not sure yet. Got in at R97.

I am looking at Omnia. You know me. Buy high...

With the dividends coming up, and also not sure what the next year will have in store for them. WRT the fertilizer shortage, El Niño, etc.

Not sure yet.

Sell now. Oil is dropping with the ongoing negotiations. Buy low just before the 60-day deadline, when they will probably be at each other's throats again...

@Bundu @W@P - You sold your Sasol at the right time (I held!) - Are you planning to get back in and if so at what price?
I donno hey. I still have 9k shares bought at R97. Maybe I should sell and keep an eye on how low it goes, then jump back in.
Also have another 6k shares bought at R32 in another portfolio.

My main plan with Sasol was to hold till they got back to more or less the old days. I still have trust in them.

My average purchase price is 96. I bought with the view that we could see 300 - 400 again within 2-3 years and I think the article suggests that is a plausible scenario. It presents a bit of a dilemma as I could have profited from the short term volatility at the risk of missing out on longer term gains. I find it much easier to make good buying decisions than selling decisions!

Anyone have some gambling money lying around? Labat Africa paying a 1c divi and the share price was, before the announcement, at 2 c..

It's madness to buy into a dividend, I have done this once before and I won't do it again. On the 29th of July the stock price will be back down. I will be surprised if anyone that intends to buy for the dividend and sell ASAP does better than breaking even.
