UK Politics: Return of the Sausages

My prediction for the by-elections today:

Makerfield: Lab hold (selfishness of Restore who are a bunch of no-hopers + the Burnham factor + Labour doing favourably with women and those over-55 [according to one of the Survation polls I saw]. Of course, there will be some stupid analysis that if Reform can't win a constituency which is basically tailor-made for them, where can they win? The obvious answer is that there are not 650 Andy Burnhams in Labour and Reform would have walked this by-election if it was the usual standard MP candidate.

Aberdeen South: Very tight between SNP and the Tories. Hoping for a Tory win here as they are much more pro oil & gas, which is a big sector in Aberdeen. The unionist vote is far bigger than the SNP share here, so it will rest on the ability of the Tories to consolidate the Reform + Labour vote.

Arbroath and Broughty Ferry: Easy SNP hold.

The man is apparently mentally retarded and was with his carer. The zoo-owner's wife jump into the enclosure to rescue the boy.
