Will give it a watch but expect it to much like top gear, funny to a degree but not the same at all.
I dont think anybody will be able to catch lightning in a bottle twice, even the BBC tried and failed twice.
same, on reading Andy Wilmas book, I finally understand why the 1st seasons were cr@p, and it really started picking up speed, when those 3 just threw stuff on a whiteboard and saw what stuck,Yeah. I think Top Gear and The Grand Tour are those rare occasions when the stars are actually bigger than the show. Even in TG's post JC-JM-RH heyday, when McGuiness, Flintoff and Harris were doing their thing, it just wasn't the same. It wasn't bad, but you always felt something was missing.
I wish these three the best of luck with TGT, but I'm not going to be rushing home to download and watch it.
