UK Politics: Return of the Sausages

How the hell is anyone actually voting Labour in 2026?

They think he will be different to Starmer which is why Reform's message ("Vote Reform to get Starmer out") had little potency in this particular by-election. Burnham will run into the same issues as Starmer soon enough and polling will reflect that. He might get a short term boost in polling but reality will soon set in.

Interestingly Starmer says he will contest Burnham in a leadership contest which is hilarious as he has zero chance of winning. Zilch. Nada. The only group who seem to like Starmer are 'centrist dads' but they are not likely to be Labour party members (who get to vote in a leadership contest).

Because they're delivering or at least people think they are, no matter how much we meme that they aren't.
They really aren't for the people who keep voting for them, nor the people who aren't, i.e. the working class. If you're a benefit scrounger, though, you're definitely winning at the former's expense. Hence the sudden popularity of Reform, and the youth's shift to the Greens.

Is Makerfield a benefit scrounger hotbed...?

Jip, listen to the first hour.
Not a easy thing to listen to.

Girls being raped and abused in England by gangs.

It's horrible and a good way to learn how much evil there is in this world.
I thought the gangs were from the 90's? Where does 70 years come from?
