MyBB'ers in the United Kingdom & Ireland

Humidity is 71%. Indoors. Can't even turn on the dehumidifier because it produces heat as a by product.

Godspeed to anyone in the London Underground today. The heat was oppressive yesterday, going to be like descending into hell today.
We went in yesterday... the ladies wanted to see a bunch of gardens and the Portobello Street Market. Left London at 5pm in the commuter rush then drove straight to a pub. Barely had a sip of my pint before the rain started. It was heaven!

I am currently seeing 25.7 degrees C with 68% humidity in the lounge. These thermal blackout curtains might be keeping the sun at bay but they can't do anything to save us from the humidity.
Doing an afternoon tea this afternoon... Wife & her sister are going to be enjoying bottomless prosecco. I will have a single G&T to cool me down but keep me under the legal limit.

I came into London at 5pm at left at 10pm. Train out was at least cooled but needed a cold shower to wash that mugginess off when I got home.

**** me.
You guys still alive?

June UK record broken, 36.1 degrees.
In gosport, 10km away from me.

For the people living in Ireland, what time of the year is best for a vacation?

Depends what you want out of it, and which part you are going to? June, July and August are the warmest months, but there will always be lots, and I mean lots of rain and clouds, no matter the time of year. I'd probably avoid winter as the days are short.

Omg it's disgustingly hot for so early in the morning.

Yeah and my friends back in SA keep laughing saying “that’s nothing it’s a normal day in SA”

Was meant to be in London on Friday to go into the office. Decided I am skipping that. The office has good AC but I expect there to be issues on the trains. So no thanks.

I’m investing in a split A/C for next summer because I think this will be a regular thing going forward.

Oddly enough handling today better than yesterday but the sun is still high.
Weird sinus pressure is probably the worst.
Yesterday felt cooler in the PM than the day before. I was able to fall asleep early.
Today doesnt feel too bad. There is a breeze blowing in which helps, but the curtains are stopping it since they are closed during to being thermal blocking.

It's 36 outside here again and still climbing.

Wet bulb temp 25.

30c here and UV is 8. But I had turned fans on early morning and closed some curtains and opened all windows. Feels cooler inside today.
