It's madness to buy into a dividend, I have done this once before and I won't do it again. On the 29th of July the stock price will be back down. I will be surprised if anyone that intends to buy for the dividend and sell ASAP does better than breaking even.

well at 2c it can only go to 1c.... and you're getting 1c dividend... so worse case you break even... best case you get +100% return

From Ghost Mail:
"The great news from a South African perspective is that the Renergen helium assets (now owned by ASP Isotopes) are headed to the Nasdaq. Through a proposed merger with a biotech group, they've put together a way to attract capital directly into that merged entity in an efficient way. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the ASP Isotopes deal was a literal lifesaver for those helium assets."

BTC (59373.09USD) will continue to drop, it already dropped below $60K with very little resistance. I will buy it later when it hits my price.

My top picks (3 month horizon):

US (top 3):
  • AMD - $532.57
  • Micron - $1,213.56
  • Western Digital - $675.39
My worry is that its hard to predict where we are in this AI bubble. Some indicators say we have peaked, some say we are still in the early stages. NVIDIA the biggest AI related equity is trending down and will probably settle around $180 which might dampen the AI hype a bit.

Dont buy NVIDIA or Microsoft right now.

I missed the Sandisk boat and not sure if I should buy it but I think it will continue to grow for the near future.

US ETFs (top 3):
  • VanEck Vectors Semiconductor - $636.88
  • Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US - $153.38
  • IShares MSCI South Korea - $205.00

Local:
  • Sygnia MSCI Emerging Markets 50 - R32.66

Are we talking long term?

Micron will probably peak soon. The chance is gone for anyone who missed out. Time to look for another 10x...

I think it will continue to grow but not by much, maybe a 100% max (2 X). By the time it reaches $1776 it will hit a 2T market cap. Im not sure there are any more AI related 10X stocks...maybe SK Hynix or Samsung but you would have to invest via an ETF that invests in them, but its not going to grow as fast.

Some NASDAQ equities not to buy:
  • asterlabs
  • Marvell
  • SpaceX aka ScamX
  • Microslop
  • Meta
  • KLA

Those looking to buy for the long should perhaps look at google and apple.

Optasia (OPA) listed at R19 and has dropped quite a bit to around R14, since then.
I was only awarded a measly 180 shares in the IPO in Nov25, making it my smallest holding and was planning to just sell them to simplify my portfolio, but saw that their management have been buying quite large amounts of the share, so I bought 20 000 on 30June at R14.37 - They are now up to R15.82, so hoping that was a good move

Guys, we've found the next Jim Cramer!!! Do the opposite what this guy says and you'll coin it. In the 5 days of him posting this :

ALAB = 1.8
MRVL= -6.5
SPCX = 0.6
MSFT = 5.9
META = 10.3
KLA = 4.3

That's 2.7% profit in 5 days!

I suspect their SENS must have leaked a bit earlier today...... up 10%
