Won't be surprised if ICC mentioned India must be in the semi's for TV money reasons...Now Aussies dropping catches at the death. Not doing us any favours. Biatches...
They're not in particularly good form at the minute. But such is the nature of T20 cricket, you just need 2 or 3 bowlers/batters to come off on the day, and victory is possible.eish but the ladies are doing it with a bit of a struggle...and england seem to be in pretty good form...
also who is doing the physical conditioning for the team...we seem to be far behind england and australia in this aspect of our game...
They have only very recently started to contract provincial players at csa. So its very new. They're not in particularly good form at the minute. But such is the nature of T20 cricket, you just need 2 or 3 bowlers/batters to come off on the day, and victory is possible.
Kapp against India, with both bat and ball for example.
Taz has played some decent knocks and Laura is over due. Laura on her day, can absolutely rip any bowling attack to pieces.
As for conditioning, not sure how professional women's cricket is in SA.
When ladies can make a lucrative living out of playing, they might cut down on the weekly pies.
I don't mean to sound patronizing and/or sexist.
Same applies to lads playing club cricket. It's more about the 19th hole and the social aspect of playing team sports on a weekend.
There are quite a few in the english squad also carrying some extra weight. They are better then they were during the 50 over wc and the last ashes now that charlotte edwards has taken over.eish but the ladies are doing it with a bit of a struggle...and england seem to be in pretty good form...

The Aussie has always set the standard and are still quite a bit ahead of everyone else. Even if india and england are slightly closer regarding fitness now. The standard was set and is still being set for them by Elyse Perry who is a former australian womens footballer (played and scored in world cup knockout games). Most of them are athletes who just chose cricket as their sport, while the rest of the teams would not look comfortable as normal athletes no offense to them.
There is also an issue with fitness facilities for the none big 3 teams.
Dottin appeared to be in visible distress, though the exact nature of the issue was not immediately clear. An official update from the West Indies camp is still awaited.
The incident occurred shortly after the national anthems, when Dottin seemed to either sustain an injury or fall ill before being helped off the field by her teammates.
