That is BS, how do you contact their support?I am fairly disappointed by them.
The sign up process is quick and easy, but I wanted to port an AirMobile number. I contacted an agent and this is their response:

On the app/site navigate to Help and use the chat button at the bottom right. That is BS, how do you contact their support?
Megsapp deleted my sim. I’d avoid them.Dont do it.
Meggsapp is better.
I can’t access my account to cancel anymore, the email to reset pin doesn’t work and the pin doesn’t work but they continue to bill me. Their support can’t figure it out and ask me to go into the store and the store says they can’t assist with Pi. Im going to have to cancel it at the bank.
You can cancel on the app, once you have paid your final R1 bill then cancel and you can still use the data until the end of the month. In theory that is, knowing what a sht fest MTN is and considering @JerryMungo experience expect the worst. So I can sign up for 3 month and then cancel?
I could swear the idiots in MTN support don't even bother to read the replies, they just copy and paste whatever reply the AI thinks applies and they move on. I've had a similar experience with MTN recently, you can talk till you are blue in the face and they'll still say just reboot your device to fix the problemHere's the opening cringy exchange in my support chat lol

They've now escalated it and I'll check back when 72 hours is up.
You probably can't transfer data to normal MTN SIM cards? Must be Pi by MTN?I ordered the Pi sim card and it was delivered the next morning, nice to to have a physical sim so that I can put it in a router.
It's convenient they allow sending data to other sims so I can send the data from my Pi eSims to the physical sim.
Naturally they have made the data sending process as stupid as possible but it's MTN so to be expected I suppose.
Okay, Pi by MTN is on its own.You probably can't transfer data to normal MTN SIM cards? Must be Pi by MTN?
CorrectYou probably can't transfer data to normal MTN SIM cards? Must be Pi by MTN?
Was the router price subsided at all?I paid for the router. I wanted to use a different network sim. Said it's not possible until after a year. I complained to Icasa. Next thing I got the network unlock code and now I can use any network sim. Mtn Pi is a waste of time
Thats really the only thing that will get you past the wall of stupidity that is their front facing customer support people and to someone that can help and has the authority to do so. I think going forward that is the best option because I've had some monumental battles with MTN in the past just trying to navigate past the idiots, once I got to someone higher up the problem was attended to without much bother.I escalated the same query for the 3rd time a couple of days ago. I've now filed a consumer complaint with ICASA as they can't help me recover my account and they continue to bill me. They can't cancel it either because apparently I have to do that through the app (which I can't login to) lol.
I'm just going to ask the bank to stop paying them.
Why would it not be a problem covered by them, the network is preventing you from accessing your mobile account, surely thats something they are mandated to help consumers with?ICASA say it’s not their problem and referred me to the NCC

How did you finally manage that?I finally figured out how to get into my Pi line and cancelled right before the renewal at R99 pm. I’ll stick to MegsApp, Pi support is horrendous.
