MotoGP 2026

Before Balaton Park, Bez's lead over Marc was over 100 points. It's now down to 40. Just crazy.

to be fair - Bez was helpless when he was cleaned out by Jorge BUT this weekend it was his own undoing

Well well well... they've been building the bike around him. Many feel that ol Brad would have had a better run if they hadn't focused on Acosta so hard... and now the turns have tabled.
Wonder if this actually gives Brad a reprieve from the pressure hes been under

Well he doesn't have a bike next season. He will need some great performances in the next 2 or so races or he is out

Doubtful, they've already named the two replacement riders. Just hope he can get a ride next year.

At that level the margins are so tiny that tiny setup changes can make a bike competitive for one rider and a slow donkey for the next based on their individual style. When I was still a wannabe motogp rider (I was never THAT fast but was solidly towards the faster side of B group and starting to get towards A) having a slightly stiffer front setup I could actually feel the wheel start chattering and I automatically compensated, but that meant I couldn't hit the apex (or else I'd lose the front)... These dudes are on another level though, they'll feel that the front is 0.2 too low on pressure or that the axle bolt was torqued 5% less than it should be. HAHAHA.

When a bike isn't super competitive (like the Kak To Maintain) setting it up focused hard on one rider makes it tougher for the next. Hopefully Brad can find a ride where they can develop it more to his style or at least a ride with a teammate that is more similar so that the bike "works" better for both.

Darryn is doing pretty well in MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. Wonder if Brad will look at moving to a different class too?

Hope he gets a ride next season... wherever it is

I do too. If reports are to be believed, Tech3 is looking at having one experienced rider to partner a rookie. Hope he is that experienced rider. I think Maverick has now burnt his KTM bridges after recent scathing public remarks regarding the way his KTM contract has been handled.

What a day's racing. So stoked for Ai Ogura. That boy has class.
I said last season already that Ai Ogura is a class rider and one to watch, and I am so stoked he managed a win at last.
This championship is still so wide open, but consistency will determine the champ in the end... and hopefully my man Ai-Oh can do the business, he has that consistency factor.

Brad Binder still deserves a seat in MotoGP, so hopefully he can manage to find a decent ride for next year, but he'll need to put in some better results going forward.

Totally agree on Ai. He's pleasure to watch. His issues of qualifying badly and having to fight through the field (Binder style) seem to have been sorted out. Added to that is his ability to nurse his tires. He's a genuine title contender. Wouldn't mind seeing him take it actually.

Looks like it, can I be real here for a second? He should never stayed on at KTM, he was doing so good and maybe moving onto the Dukes might of been a better choice.

I said it 2 years go already that Brad Binder should've looked for one of the Aprilia seats, but no, KTM loyalty and all that... it's a crock, it's business. But, just maybe something will happen for him, the year is only halfway.
