MotoGP 2026

And backed it up with a second place in in the race 2.

Ah cool! That, I didn't see. Good for him.

Side note, glad to see racing back again this week. It has been a barren few weeks. Some light predicted for the Jerez region on Friday which could make things interesting in terms of direct to Qualy 2 places.

Another lacklustre practice session sees Brad having to go through Q1 again as he only finished 16th. I suppose his only crumb of comfort can be that his wunderkind teammate finished 1 place ahead of him and is also destined for a rare Q1 appearance. Bastianini amazingly, straight through in 10th place.

Pedro was riding the life out of that turd and almost stacked it on Turn 1.

Hondas had a great showing until the very end when the track was too busy.

Brivio admitted he’s lost Ogura. Poor move for Ai.

Digi and Marquez the Younger looking mint for this weekend.

What a mental sprint! Brad... What could have been. But 4th is not to be scoffed at.

Schedule for Le Mans this coming weekend (times are SA)

Chance of some sketchy weather across the weekend too which could make things interesting.

Another dismal performance by Brad this weekend. At least he's sorted for next year, team leader at Sixty60.

Haha! Yeah, it was not a good one for him. And even more strange, given his Friday form. He finished 10th in Practice 1 and only just missed automatic Q2 entry by hundredths of a second. I had high hopes for him in Qualy 1. So imagine my dismay when I checked the results later to find him second to last with only a reserve rider in Folger behind him.

I am still hopeful he will be retained in the KTM family but performances like this don't help make his case.

He really struggles with one-lap pace - could it be a tyre issue? Like how he turns on the tyre over the short stint? Coz in-race hes not too bad

Really not sure what the issue is for him. His Saturday form has been his Achilles heel ever since he joined the top flight (118 races but only 5 front row starts) but has often been better on Sundays. Given how hard it is to overtake however, if he doesn't have a lightning start, he is usually too far back to fight for meaningful places. Only 11 MotoGP podiums attests to this.

I've said it before but I don't think he's suddenly become a bad rider. He just hasn't adapted as well to this design route that KTM has taken. And this could also count against him for next year. If he couldn't adapt to comparitively minor changes in the current rule set, what chance does a potential employer feel he has to get to grips with the raft of changes coming next year.

What a mental race! But I must say, I'm a bit flummoxed. How does Fernandez escape a penalty for nerfing Martin off the track but Ogura is nailed for the same thing...

Glad to hear both riders are ok and being monitored in hospital. Some surgeries and missed races coming up but given how bad those crashes were, it’s not all bad

That crash though.

It was reported that he spoke to his mum in hospital with further updates saying he suffered a fracture to the C7 vertebrae in his lower neck and will require surgery on his right clavicle as well.

Hectic race .. One more Red flag incident and Binder might have got a podium .
I thought Ai's penalty was harsh considering some of the other in track incidents that went unpunished.

Any confirmation on whether Pedro went back out on the spare bike or primary?
Spare bike based on his post race interview but it is a little confusing.
“We went with the other bike, the bike was OK” which I understood as he went with the spare bike but the other bike was OK.
