What's for supper III

Forgot to post this on Tuesday. We made homemade burgers: Two big beef patties, avo, lettuce, gherkin, bacon, cheese and a soft egg.

Wowser, well done. I like making homemade burgers too. Sometimes it's difficult finding a decent bun but I discovered a new bakery on my route and they make some big sesame seed fresh buns that beat any franchise.

.......and people in the Swartland in summer is thankful for such a cool day. :p . I've experienced 48°C several times, in Paarl, Malmesbury, Citrusdal, etc, and once 50°C near Piketberg.
All perceptions. Some time back we stayed over for a few days in Interlaken (Switzerland). Locals experienced a "heatwave" (according to them). Day temp went up to 26° C. :X3:

It hits different here. We have durban levels of humidity and more, and the houses are built to retain heat. It didn't get below 30 in the bedroom last night.
