Eskom CEO paid R11.7 million while contributing negative economic value
Eskom CEO Dan Marokane was being paid a large salary despite dragging down the South African economy, Efficient Group chief economist Dawie Roodt has said.
Roodt was speaking on the State of the Nation podcast about the relatively high financial burden South Africa's large contingent of civil servants placed on taxpayers when he singled out Marokane.
