New Jetour bakkie coming to South Africa – What to expect

These ratings are according to Chinese regulations as per the article.

I drove a brand new Jetour T1 last week, it's quite formidable if I must say so.
Not my vehicle but I know the owner and will get feedback in the months to follow.

I'm a Hilux owner. While I'm aware that the GD6 is the bees knees and super reliable, it isn't the greatest bakkie to drive. I find my old 2008 Isuzu more comfortable.
But anyway, I'm keen to try something new, I'm sold on all these new Hybrids and also the ones with plug in options, especially now that I've actually driven a Jetour.

The question is will South African Insurers use that number to deny a claim , I think on the T2 they are doing that but I stand to be corrected.
