Chris Nolan's - The Odyssey.

Not that the right moaners will watch but this is a great video debunking all the nonsense about empty theaters or fake review scores.

As soon as it drops online will watch it but it's kak funny all the haters, especially the YouTuber reviewers that wanted this to fail haha this is going to make so much money

Amazing movie and experience at IMAX. Nothing woke about the movie other than some of the actor/esses & being a bit out of place.

Go wokesy go brokesy or something like that.
Stupid comment from the usual libtard peanut gallery. It’s made lots of money because people with a vague interest in Greek mythology and its shaping of culture generally have the money to want to go and watch it. Unlike the other brainless rubbish out there aimed at the masses.

Watched it on IMAX. The movie is a slog to sit through save only for the brilliant score that accompanies some of the action and dialogue. The invasion of Troy is particularly spectacular. that would certainly be standard fare without the music.

We're familiar with plot, themes so nothing stands out, except for the scene with Samantha Morton. Actors speak in an "classical" tone, but with a slight American accent. Quite unique and it kinda works.

Probably the worst thing about the movie is the casting of an unknown Indian actor who gets a lot of screen time. Nolan could've hand picked literally anyone but the Indian who proudly refers to himself as Greek(!?) just doesn't cut it as he just cant act the part.

Asian american actor from The Good Doctor plays a Greek soldier so ticks all the DEI boxes.
Overrated and made specifically for Nolan fanboys.

I honestly think Nolan do better with non fantasy works whereas people like jackson or denis do better. Nolan isn't good choice for adaptions nenvermind who writes them. However, it's not always the fault of the director I mean look at lords of the rings unfuckkening by jackson for three films after the originals.
