I dunno how the parents do it.. They carry on as if the world is normal and I can't even concentrate with the noise.

It has gotten to the point where I actively seek out establishments which are child-unfriendly.

this only happens to you once :

cant find a pair of socks after doing washing , look everywhere . double check nothing hanging on the washing line . unfold all the washing in case the socks are inside another piece of clothing

eventually you find it stuck up against a fin and the side wall of your front loader
