I also went for the Annual Sub. First purchase was two jars of Nescafe Decaf at R169. If I got it at Checkers it would have been R340 odd, so half of the sub already paid for itself.

of course we keeping it.... its my wife's favorite thing....order the random smallest **** for same day delivery just because she can

Disney+ is R1590 annually. Prime is R400. Value for money wise its incredible just for the streaming package. The shopping perks are gravy. Definitely worth it. Cancelled Disney+.

bought two Lego sets during the prime week where I saved over R3000 off retail price and R1400 off the price I was prepared to pay.

so I'm considering playing with the house money

if I don't catch more savings in the year then I doubt I will renew

Got our second Everyday essentials 25kg dogfood delivered Friday. Seeing that its the same guy delivering every time, he even know what spot in the garage to put it.

Was already subbing for prime video and the one free twitch sub so no reason not to continue when its now cheaper.

Got one of those as well. Connected to the Prime channel. What a load of unadulterated horseshite. Hope there are some TV shows worth watching, because the movie selection is terrible.

I don't order from Amazon. Is there any other advantage to it, or is it just a waste of time?
If you watch amazon prime or twitch yes.

I thought that was what I checked out. Amazon Prime. I see there's a season of Columbo which I may watch. Enjoyed it back in the day.

Twitch is a different form of demented. Not sure I want to navigate my way through that. The live Sumo is worth watching, but very protracted. I prefer watching a half hour of daily highlights on YouTube, to be honest.

okay I'm not sure I should have gone for the subscription

the deals I'm buying at the moment are not even exclusive to prime members

Don't you get free shipping? If you order only 5 times the year you already get your money back for your R400/y sub. vs Takealot.
Then you still have Prime video for free

yeah good point, forgot about that

haven't bothered with the video stuff, I've sort of outgrew entertainment

Free with Vodacom data contract so no need to cancel or decide to keep yet. Helped a friend buy a phone for cheaper than anywhere else over my Amazon account. Use Prime Video often.
