Checkers Sixty60 is generating more revenue per year than Takealot

The e-commerce service which beats Takealot and Amazon

Shoprite's e-commerce platform Checkers Sixty60 recorded annual revenue of R25.5 billion during the year ended 28 June 2026, which is significantly more than Takealot generates per year.

South African investment commentator The Finance Ghost noted on Twitter/X that the Naspers-owned Takealot generated around R7 billion less revenue at ~R18 billion.
