Not sure if you okes have seen this story yet (it's a few days old) but jeez, talk about not playing in the spirit of the game


Saltburn Cricket Club have suspended a player accused of clicking his fingers to get a caught-behind wicket after footage of several incidents went viral on social media.

A first video posted on Monday evening, from Saltburn's second XI victory over Norton, showed the fielder clicking his fingers as the ball passed the bat, before being caught by the wicketkeeper, which persuaded the umpire to give him out.

I've often considered starting to play club cricket again (gave it up around 2012) but when I see sh*t like this, I question if that is how I would want to spend my Saturday afternoons.

I see England have again appointed a new zealander with no red ball coaching to lead the test team to glory.

He was Russell domingo's batting consultant at the warriors before the India coaching gig. So alot more then either baz or Fleming
 

AKHILESH REDDY BANNED FOR EIGHT YEARS UNDER ANTI-CORRUPTION CODE​

Media Release​

USA player Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has been banned from all cricket for eight years after an ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of breaching three counts of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.

The charges relate to the Abu Dhabi T10 2025 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for which the ICC was appointed by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO).

The ban is backdated to 21 November 2025, when Reddy was provisionally suspended.

The Tribunal found Mr Reddy guilty of the following offences under the Code:

Article 2.1.1 – Attempting to fix, contrive or otherwise influence improperly, or being party to an agreement or effort to fix or contrive in any way or otherwise influence improperly, the result, progress, conduct or other aspect of matches in the ADT10 2025.

Article 2.1.4 - soliciting, inducing, enticing, instructing, persuading, encouraging or intentionally facilitating (or attempting to do the former) another Participant to breach Article 2.1.1 of the Code in one or more Matches in the ADT10 2025.

Article 2.4.7 – Obstructing the DACO’s investigation through deletion of data and messages from a mobile device which may have been relevant to the DACO’s investigation.

Didn't think I'd see this score when I switched on this morning. Australia, after winning the toss and choosing to bat, have been rolled for 198 by Bangladesh.

Up to the Tigers now to respond with the bat.

Wonder if there was a little bit of complacency from Australia. Bangladesh had been comprehensively rolled in a warm up game prior to this test so maybe they thought they would just rock up do the same. Big reality check for them.
 
Score shows again how utterly they rely on smudge. They are in massive trouble once he retires.

Australia really struggling. They are just doing enough not to lose with an innings at the moment.
 
Australia is in for a rocky ride over the next year or so. After Bangladesh, they come here for three tests. Then, it's home to host New Zealand for four tests. Then, it's onto a plane to India for five tests. For some reason, they then have a one off test in Melbourne in March against England before heading over to the UK in June for the Ashes.

One swallow a Summer does not make, but after their recent capitulation against Bangladesh, their upcoming opponents will justifiably feel there are wins to be had. Still, write these Aussies off at your peril.

Fly close to the sun and you get burnt. They want all the cash along with england and india. Well back it up on the field then. Or end up like their rugby team?
