It's not easy. Many of the friendship circles are set in school and just carry on. If you're from Jozi then it must feel hard as folks from there are genuinely friendly. (CT people are not). How has everyone gotten on with making friends and “making the circle bigger”?
Wife and I miss friends back in SA a fair amount and she feels alone out here (even with family around) - it feels like trying to make friends with the British is a nonstarter for the most part.
Any tips or suggestions?
I’ve also tried to figure out how to get into some rising groups now that I have my bike but Facebook is a cesspool.
