Tried it last night. After I got one shot so many time I realized this might not be the game for me.

There are 2 types of people:

Those who like "soulslike" games.

I'm still keen to also play Enotria but these souls like games one shot me and my dodging skills don't exist.

Getting a bit sick of AC Valhalla now to be honest. Starting to rush things.

Also, why are there so many children in the game? More specifically, so many child quest givers? It is bizarre, don't know what the devs were thinking or why they were so damn obsessed with kids in this game.

We must get @airborne to investigate...

Nah you can keep the soulslikes.

Played the Mortal Shell 2 demo back-to-back with the Onimusha demo and had a way better time with the latter.

Still so much fun.

Easily one of the best souls-likes ever.

The title sequence with that crazy guitar was just so good

Finished the AC Valhalla main story. Should I try to finish all the side stuff? Don't think so. Not interested and I'm tired of the game now.

Overall still my least favourite game in the series. Beautiful world but it's just not very interesing. The actual Valhalla parts felt like bad, pointless DLC nonsence. Worst ending as well.

Only reason I played Valhalla is because I wanted to get to Mirage and I didn't want to skip a game. Really looking forward to Mirage but will take a little break from AC for now.

Only if chasing down whateveethe**** it was again that gets blown away by the wind everytime you catch it.

Otherwise, no.

When its a Ubisoft game, the answer is always, no.

But seriously though, all the children in the game you have to help was by far the worst part. No children in Mirage please.

I liked them all, but Mirage is a nice palate cleanser in the series. Way, way narrower in scope by design. So it's much shorter and smaller, and much more focused on assassinations, like the first couple of games.

Exactly why I'm looking forward to it. That and because the main focus is finally on one big city again. The series has strayed too far in the wrong direction for too long now imo.

explored a bit.... have 2 shells so far and found the Veteran axe and gloombound flame.
lit the lantern, and thought why not......night mode.
I do believe this is how the enemies see my level 6 character in night mode Especially when I am hitting walls looking for secrets.

Tonight I am going to moer that poison assholes in the drowned village. I missed whatever is there.

I'm having to force myself to go to bed

I'm 15 hours in, I think level 17, cleared most of Fainweald (except the 2 corrupted gates in the northern area)

I love the sound effects in this game - using a "flask", the gun, or just hitting an enemy sound so satisfying.

really like the fragile tarstones that where added in the recent patch

I dont think I will change shells in this playthough (I've got 3 so far)

just one more try. Can't leave my gloom there. Taken me a bit to catch on to the tarstones, and shell skill levelling, but got it now, Was thinking game broken because couldn't equip something, but then i got the axe the other didn't work. Then it dawned on me different gear, works with different stuff.
I am avoiding vids on the game till I am really stuck further or on new game. Exploration and discovery is a thrill i don't want to diminish.
