Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027

Anyone know how this rule work exactly?
Have an FNB Global Account with the required minimum monthly balance of 2,500 (AUD, EUR, GBP, CD, USD) or 160,000 (INR).

On the 29 Jul 2026, I added money and had the required amount. and on the 03 Aug 2026 I spend and was below.
I didn't get the points.

probably a timing thing - i find that transactions done on the last 2-3 days of the month dont reflect in that month and sometimes carry over into the new month

This is likely that the amount needs to be maintained through out the month, not just for the month end or a couple days.

Thanks!Those are the 2 options...:-)
Well if anyone knows which one that will be great

You'll get the points only for August when calculated for August in the September eBucks run.

It's as Scooby_Doo explained it, key phrase is that the 'minimum balance' must be maintained the entire month.

edit: You wont get the August points if your balance went below the minimum required.

Sounds like the balance went below the minimum in August too.

Oh right, yeah clarification needed from @bar1
Yeeah it did.
My bad i guess?
Plan was to top it up to the minimum amount, do online shopping/services in USD and then top it up when I get paid.
I do think it worked before , will have to check.

So it seems that Spar will no longer be an ebucks partner after September 2026.
Notification said "Stay tuned" for news about new partners, so hopefully something will replace it.

With Shoprite buying Vida e Caffe, I'm sure that Starbucks will be removed from Checkers stores and replaced with Vida outlets. I hope that Starbucks gets removed from ebucks and gets replaced with something else instead. Never been a fan.

As of 30 September 2026, SPAR will no longer be an eBucks earn and spend partner. You can still use Pick n Pay as your grocer partner, where you will be able to both spend and earn eBucks back on your purchases.

Booooo...

So if it's not a grocer then effectively it means reduced ebucks on groceries due to PnP caps.
And even if it's indeed Boxer.... who the F on ebucks frequents a Boxer?
It might actually be a sneaky move by FNB to reduce the eB payouts...

Every move by the ebucks team over the last 4 years has been to reduce the ebucks payouts. Ever since they introduced the yearly cap per account is where the payouts were drastically reduced.
