The Matrix: Resurrections - 7/10
Unlike many I enjoyed the film, no where near as good as the original of course, but for a sequel good enough.

I missed the start and only came in at the point where they were discussing the game The Matrix.

How this woman managed to be in top Hollywood movies is beyond me. Very poor actress. Oh yes, 'cause she is easy on the eye.

She made her mark with Wonder Woman, a good movie, which got bums on seats and execs tend to go with what has worked before. If the bad movie trend continues she won't last.

Mayday (2026) - 7/10 ... Loved it !

The Mongoose (2026) - 6/10 ... Nice car scenes, but the story was a bit "meh"

Tedious real-time action thriller set in London. A large part of the script is Gal Gadot running & lots of flashes of her hol in spandex, will never complain about that.

We have the token GG clunky line delivery.

No this was a 10/10 movie. I can't remember the last time a laughed throughout an entire movie.

One of the movies of all time.

8/10 for me too. Great fun, start to finish

Felt very retro - Smokey and the Bandit meets Vanishing point.

Neeson is so much better with a decent script.

Must've been smoking damn good sht when you watched this and then comparing it these classics. It's boknaai, but speaking of naai, Marisa Tomei looking mighty fine for 60, with zero botox/plastic.

Ignore the absurd ChatGPT-written script. There is plenty to like & enjoy in this romcom. Humour & laughs hit hard, Monica Barbaro & Callum Turner have excellent chemistry & boy she is easy on the eye in this film. The real-time setting works well.

Wow. This was such a good movie. 10/10 for a foreign movie. Loved the characters.

I am not too familier with the original book although I've heard of it here and there.

But excellent character development. And the main actor played the role really well.

Cheers for this one.

Goodness no. One movie was enough for me. That was a tense story and so messed up.

The Mongoose (2026) - 5.5/10. Plot and characters are bad. The awesome Shelby and some decent chase scenes makes the movie somewhat watchable.
