What do you think of DStv's new packages?

MultiChoice announced the biggest overhaul of DStv’s products in 15 years on Monday.

The new package structure is as follows:

• DStv EasyView, at R30 per month, remains as-is.
• Starter, formerly DStv Access, is R99/R150 per month for 85 TV channels, and includes one Premier League match of the week on the SuperSport Kickoff channel. Gets Wethu+ and Moja Love. KykNet & Kie replaces KykNet Lekker as the Afrikaans channel.
• Select, formerly DStv Family, is R299/R339 per month for 100 TV channels, carries SuperSport’s PSL soccer content, and includes Mzansi Magic and all DStv’s kids channels.
• Sports, formerly DStv Compact, is R399/R479 per month for 115 TV channels, and includes SuperSport’s Premier League and UEFA content, cricket, domestic rugby, URC match of the week, UFC, and WWE.
• Movies & Series, at R500 per month, is a brand-new package with 115 TV channels, including M-Net and M Movies+, which were previously only available on DStv Premium. Also features KykNet.
• DStv Compact Plus, at R549/R659 per month, has been grandfathered or “shadowed”.
• DStv Premium remains R799/R979 per month with 130 TV channels, including premium rugby, Formula 1, MotoGP, golf, and ATP tennis.

The cheaper one is for streaming only, the pricier one is for decoder/satellite. You pay more for decoder.
