The Z670RP seems to be a cut down version of the Z670MN that was on sale earlier this year.
From what I see it only has 2.0 sound vs 2.1 and while it has "full-array local dimming" the MN indicates "full-array local dimming pro" which I assume means how many dimming zones they have.

That Xiaomi TV has peaked my interest.

Yeah but thats a diffrent TV than the one I posted. This is Mini LED, the one I posed is Qled. Mini LED is superior to Qled. But yeah very nice TV for a very nice price. Doubt anyone can beat this at 14k.....

The C450 above has VRR but 60hz. It has a game mode with low latency etc. However their "gaming" TVs are the "Z" range.
I have a Z670MN and can confirm that it does 144hz @ 4K on PC. It also has VRR and other specific gaming features.
 
Hi all. I see there's a new Z series Toshiba, the Z670RP. I think this is a replacement to the Z670mn, as is a 2025 model.

I'm struggling to find any reviews on it as it seems it's only just launched in SA, Australia and a few other countries.

It's a great price, but I'm reluctant to pull the trigger as even the specs are a bit of a mystery. I'm particularly interested on whether it has any kind of local dimming like the previous model. It lists the lighting as "direct LED", meaning LEDs behind the screen, but no mention of dimming.

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated!

It's not the same spec wise, seems a little lower spec from the mn

Dankie mense. I'm getting a PS5 at the end of the month and I'm driving myself insane trying to find the right TV.

It really is an impossible task. The local models don't match overseas models, so RTings reviews are borderline useless. When it comes to bigger TVs, buying online becomes tricky since they're so heavy, and while your Hifi corp/Incredible corruption have stock, it's limited to a handful of random branches.

When you finally get to a brick and mortar store, the specs they show is atrocious! How is HDMI (with no mention of 1.4/2.1/hz) a featured/highlighted spec in 2025?! Even the boxes themselves don't always give much more detail than what you need to make an informed decision.

Exactly. I'm actually hating this entire process for those reasons.

That being said, I think my number one pick (for now) is the TCL C6K. Seems decent for the price
