Xbox Series X / S

Not available locally?

I have no idea, but many members here aren't living here. XBOX has also opened it up to more players,

Cloud Gaming Without a Game Pass Subscription

Also beginning in November, players will have a new way to use XBOX cloud gaming without subscribing to Game Pass.

Players will be able to purchase cloud playtime hours through the XBOX Store and stream eligible games they own on supported devices. This will provide another option for people who want occasional access to cloud gaming or do not want a recurring Game Pass subscription.

but what I want to know is whether it is now more restrictive?

RSA XCloud was meant to run from 2 data centers in SA, 1 in CPT and a second in JHB.

Sadly demand spiked in US cause of Covid and the servers that was meant for us got diverted.

I think Sony is gonna have a hard time next gen. A lot of gamers are gonna jump ship just because they are pissed at Sony and Xbox looks like they are back on track. Exclusives matter.

Yeah... no.

Microsoft themself admitted the race is lost. Most single console owners have years of game catalog's in em digital lockers. Kinda hard to switch when all your games are tied to one library.

Even worse Microsoft eliminated the program that could counter that aka monthly free games.

Yeah whomever locked players into an ecosystem last gen is winning now.

I do think Xbox could garner more interest next gen if they add Steam support to the device, but with crazy prices that is expected for next gen, hell gone are the days of owning both.
