I decided to start a thread dedicated to only the Series X/S consoles that will be released on 10 November 2020.

My pre-order is in for the Series X.

Ordered mine from Makro and took the collect option.
 
Stupid question but do you know if the current controllers will work on the new consoles?

Great. I'm seriously thinking of getting the Series S. My gaming pc is 4 years old now and would need to be upgraded but I barely play current games on it. Want to get rid of it completely and get a nice macbook for work + series s for games

The Series S plus Game Pass will be perfect for you if you game on a PC Monitor.
 
Ordered mine from BT games. Almost had a mini heart attack when BT's site was slowed down to a crawl ,but it seems there was plenty of stock.

Planning to get gamepass ultimate and have my 4k Hisense 65" M7000 so should be good to go. Also the only game I plan on buying is cyberpunk 2077 and I hope cd project release updated next gen graphics patch not to long after the console launch.

I have the 55" version of that TV and have already pre-ordered Cyberpunk.

My Ultimate Game Pass is paid till 2022.

I game share with @SauRoNZA so our gaming library is already quite big.

Sad to say, took GamePass Cause of Doom.

Glad I did check it out beforehand, not what I expected also did not know some games are only on there for a limited time but its cool, I can understand why they wont keep games on there forever Dev's needs to eat. Canceling my Humble Choice sub for GamePass.

I am seriously looking at replacing my Media PC with a Xbox Series S.

Question how is browser support on Xbox, is it closer to mobile or closer to PC?

It basically uses Edge. So it's closer to a pc. I watch the F1 on there with F1 tv. However, without a mouse it's still a bit of a pain to use.
 
I hardly ever use the browser, I don't think it is very user friendly.
 
I think I will be jumping ship from my PS4 to the xbox. Will it be possible to play my old Halo games from 360 days?

Great... if its like Edge I hope they use new Chromium version on Xbox Series as I have a T16 currently on my Media PC, mostly used to navigate Kodi or browse internet via Chrome.

I'm speaking under correction but I think they updated all the Halo games to be available on Game Pass, so you should be able to. I can at least install/play them on PC

I have no idea if it uses the Chromium version or not unfortunately.
