Xbox Series X / S

This will be my first console. Would they generally work with my Logitech Force 3d Pro joystick? Asking for FS2020.

That's up to you. If you don't have a 4K tv then no, it's not worth it. If you have a 4k tv and you want the games to look the best they can then go for the Series X. A friend of mine is going with a Series S even though he has a 4K tv since the games will get upscaled in any case.
 
Can't seem to find any answers on this. With the One X being more powerful than the Series S, will there be a way to run any next gen games on the One X?

I don't think the One X is more powerful, is it? Hmmm, not sure. That's an interesting one.

It's difficult to say whether all the next gen games will run on the One X. Microsoft said they want all the games to run on the older consoles but when they showed the trailers, not all of them had logos for the XBox One consoles. Some just had the Series logos. So many of the next gen games will run on the One X but we aren't sure yet if it will be all of them.
 
MS has confirmed that games on the Series One will take up less space than on the Series X due to not requiring 4k textures

A significant portion of the overall size of a game is comprised of texture data. As Xbox Series S was designed with a performance target of 1440p at 60 FPS with support for up to 120 FPS, many games will not require their highest level of 4K textures resulting in smaller game sizes overall, often up to 30% smaller on average.

The One X only has a more powerful GPU and plays games in 4K, the Series S is a more powerful next gen console that plays games in 1440P. It upscales if you play the game is played on a 4K display.

You don't get any next gen features like quick resume and Ray Tracing with the One X. The Series S has it.

On the flip side: I been "stuck" in Destiny 2 now for about 2 years... I see all my Steam Wishlist games are in GP
I need to find time somewhere to play all the games now :(

My wife reckons she prefers that I am at home playing games than sitting in pubs and golf courses with friends.

She never complains about any of my game hobby buying.

She buy her own luxuries, I buy my own.

Managed to get a clearance certificate from the Minister of Finance, now just need to dig deep and hold on for a custom/special edition console
