  • There is La Monumental, plus the Turn 17 right-hander, where drivers have to brake heavily while navigating a quick left sweep beforehand, is going to be quite a handful.
  • But based on evidence from F3 testing, and proven by the tyre marks still left on the track, it is the Turn 5/6 chicane that could be the main trouble point.
  • Coming at the end of the quickest point of the track – the long sweeping section from Turn 3 – drivers have to negotiate a quite tricky chicane.
  • The kerbs will require treating with caution, but it is the angle of the barrier on the exit – which offers a pinch point – that could well be what catches a lot of people out.

Lap 6 - the F1TV crew completely ignoring Antonelli going off track while they discuss Hamilton's brakes. There was a good shot behind Norris but they're hyper focussing on one aspect and ignoring the race.

Le Clerc and Russel could be in a good position on hards at this point with no sign of a SC.
Delta is way way too low for significant overtaking on this track.

This track is meh. May as well be a street race through Madrid. Maybe throw some bulls in for fun.
