Does the bath have spray attachment that you can make steamy waterfalls with just the hot tap?
 
This is my 2 x geysers usage. All from solar.
When I scroll down in the CBI app, it only goes up to Sep 2023.
So not sure what those totals are.

No, it didn't.

I live alone. But my geysers are connected to each other, so I can't run only one; I have to run both to have hot water.

That's why one geyser is doing more work than the other.

I would if I could get access. There is fokool space to work by the geysers. It's as if they installed the geysers with all the plumbing and then installed the roof sheeting. You need a midget to get in there.

Otherwise, I would have changed the connection of the 2 geysers by now.

Oh yes. As you were. Seems geyser 2 is just wasting energy with standby losses, may aswell turn it off.

My inlaws have the same setup at their house in Hartebeespoort, my FIL simply keeps the front most geyser on when it is just them their and switches the back one on when guests are there as well. It means they have hot water when it is just them without running both geysers and more hot water when guests are there.

this is when geyser wise comes in handy - lol even though mines are on the roof and easy to get to my Lazy ass doesn't need to take the ladder out :)
 
Could they have piped them in parallel? Would make no sense but that's the only explanation I can think of. So it mixes water from both geysers... worth looking for a shut-off tap on one of them, closing it and turning that geyser element off.

Surely the power consumption would be equal too then?
