Capital gains tax?

Well, obviously since that is when CGT is levied
It was sold in 2025. SARS levied the full amount of CGT, not my marginal tax rate. It was R760 000. I was expecting much less
 
On a side note. Was disturbed to find out if you decide to claim a home office expense deduction, the portion of the floor space claimed is removed from your property sale CGT allowance. Talk about give with one hand, take with the other!
