Perhaps OT, but it's honestly the real answer for OP.

Firefox may not be as fast as Chrome, but the browser has been great lately. And Ublock just works.

Block Bobshop in notification settings?

As he said.

System -> Notifications -> Set Chrome to "Off"

You can also change it to only provide notifications within the notification center.
