Consider the 512gb - while I'm sure most of your stuff is on the cloud, it's only a matter of time till onboard AI starts taking up more of your phone storage
 
Pre-ordered 18 Pro for my son yesterday. Launching the 18th of September here.

He's turning 18 and migrating from Android. Just because he's friends in college all have iPhones.

Total cost over 2 year contract R 25k

He will probably get into a 2 year upgrade/trade in cycle from here onward.

PS> What I like here with providers is that they actually reward you for having contracts.

We have 4 cell contracts and our internet with them. So we get Netflix Standard Full HD package for 2 screens, for free.
 
Went to my nearest iStore to check out the devices for myself and I'm still undecided which one I would pick

Did anyone else have pre-order issues with iStore?
They happily took my money on day 1 of pre-orders and messaged me on launch day to say that my order will take 2-3 weeks.

I cancelled and bought from Takealot. Got it today.
I lose out on iCare plus but took my money elsewhere out of principle.

I was still happy with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, however, I really want the convenience of USB C and tired of deleting stuff to do software updates. I have the base model 128gb, moved to 512gb so hopefully I can keep this one for quite a while.

Same experience.
They even allowed me to substitute a different storage size Pro Max that was "in stock", and then told me delivery will take 2 weeks for that model as soon as I paid the difference. AND, now I have to wait 10 to 14 days to get my refund. I am so done with iStore SA.
