Rain and storm for Cpt pt 2

Living in Stellenbosch for the good part of 2 decades. I have never put my AC on cooling in September. Last night was the 1st time.

I'm not expecting anything for CT itself, but looking out my window I see some very large convective clouds developing along the Franschhoek, Paarl, Piketberg axis. Expect some heavy showers in that area this afternoon.

The wind direction has changed a bit, from true north, to north-north-west, so we are getting slightly cooler marine air (near the coast anyway), compared to the berg wind earlier this morning. That is part of the reason why the N/S convective cloud band is only forming 50km inland.

P.S. Fog is predicted overnight, so the indoors humidity is going to be horrible...

Either late (4am this morning), or fake, or irrelevant (nothing in my forecast for Wednesday). I would be much more concerned with the likely storm on Fri 5th into Sat 6th.

Today for me is uncomfortably warm; it is better now, but the wind earlier was a bit of a toaster. I am sure that if I left a piece of chicken outside, it would have done a better job than a Philips air fryer.

It was a good day for washing.

A nice sea breeze picking up (NW). Outdoor temp peaked @ 32 degrees at 11AM; indoor temp was 28, now down to 24.2°. Also got laundry done and some gardening. Now it must just rain! I still have all my winter bedding on, so I'll probably be sleeping on top of it tonight.
