What problems are you having with your batteries?

I've only killed one Ingco battery which considering what it had been through was not unexpected. It was a 4Ah which was absolutely hammered on a SDS drill on a building site for a few years and then I started using it with the cordless heat gun which is extremely high current draw and chows batteries, I wasn't surprised it gave up after all that.

I opened the battery up and one cell had died(it seems the pack become unbalanced and it eventually got so bad that one cell reversed polarity), the rest of the cells were still fine and I even used 3 of them to rebuild an ancient Bosch 12v battery that had reached the end of it’s life and that battery has been happily working for the last year or so. Also a 4Ah incgo battery can often be had for under R400 so replacing batteries isn't the considerable expense it can be on more expensive brands.

Nice one @DTBA, please lets us know what that drill is like especially the chuck, it'll be a Chinese made Jacob's chuck but it should still be decent. Just keep in mind your full name is showing in those screenshots

Will post pictures when I get it. Need to use it on the farm a bit to see how it does
