I've been an Apple TV fan pretty much ever since they came out, have one connected to every TV in the house... however, boyfriend's pushing me to replace them with smart TVs instead. Am I being stubborn and stuck in my ways thinking Apple TV's are better?

No the Apple TV is 90% faster than even the fastest Google TV streamer I'm sure it's 100% faster than any so called smart tv. Rather replace the boyfriend lol

Not a chance, Apple TVs are amazing, even more so if you use iPhones and other Apple devices

As per other feedback here - don’t fall for the smart TV - stick with the ATV - will still work well long after the smart tv manufacturer has abandoned the apps installed via their proprietary stores.
