I realised I had seen the 1955 movie during episode 5! And then I was like, "of course, it's Kazan's granddaughter following in his footsteps." Plan to read the book in the future.

Elia Kazan is a big deal in Hollywood. Zoe Kazan is actually married to Paul Dano.

Florence Pugh gives it "all" for this role?

Timeless story this, brilliantly written by Zoe Kazan. Incidentally her father directed the classic movie version with James Dean. Only covers the last part of the book.
