What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

Playing Dragons Dogma 2 for the first time. This game was made for me. The open world, old style fantasy setting with swords, bows and magic, with big monsters roaming around.

I played the first one a year ago and it's probably the best game that I didn't play or know about. For some reason it went under the radar.
I'm playing it right now too. About halfway through the DLC.

The first Dark Arisen is still the better game imo. That said, the new DLC is very, very good.

One of a kind game yeah. Combat, builds and pawn training means everything. Story not so much.

Yeah I play it for the combat and exploring. There's no other game quite like Dragons Dogma 1/2.

Only complaint about the 2nd one so far is that the Magick Archer unlock is in an endgame area and I want to try it out. So either I need to go to the area much earlier than expected and get destroyed or run past mobs, or wait and unlock it when the main game is about 70% done. I'm playing it on Hard mode and it's my first playthrough. Only about 5hrs in so far.

I play Magick Archer and I did just that. You can run there no problem its an adventure. You go through the cave instead of waiting for story to unlock the area. Just be sure you do this day time and not night. If it turns night - camp. And also be sure not to take a wrong turn for the guys quest - you can run into golems - avoid that at all costs.

Started playing for the Third time after the DLC dropped

Don't have the DLC, but a resurgence of players means more people will use your pawn in their games

Base game is irrelevant now most active pawns will be in the DLC using DLC skills and wearing DLC gear.

Base game is not irrelevant...

What a muppet
Yes. Yes it is. Just like the first game was, until it got the Dark Arisen upgrade, so too is this game, now that it got it's Dark Arisen upgrade.

The is nothing new for you in the base game, 0, nil, nada. Everything new is in the DLC.

First time? Hey, you do you. But don't for a second suggest people are playing again to play the base game again. That's idiotic, and a look at the charts prior to DLC and after DLC release should tell you just how idiotic it is.

Stop being poor and buy the DLC.

You muppet.

This is my 3rd time playing the base game

There are still new pawns, hundreds of them and people still use my pawn
You are typing **** for the sake of it

I too have 4x Godsways in my inventory and my next base game quest is the Gigantus. I am no stranger to Dragon's Dogma. I am a huge fan with hundreds of hours sank into both games.

Of course there are people playing the base game. There are 80b people on the planet. Its a given. We got 2x new save slots so people are leveling new pawns to build their perfect parties. Besides that a hand-full will be new.

That in no way means the majority player base returned to replay the game. It means they returned to play the DLC, which they have been waiting for since the game's release.

They are in Norgan using pawns that are "Norgan Traveled". That rift toggle eliminates base game pawns completely, they don't even show up as selectable.

What good are they if they know nothing and can't guide you anywhere or correctly damage enemies, or damage them at all because they are still using vanilla gear? They won't have the additional augment slot either, making them gimped from the get-go.

DLC relics come with up to 4x skills a piece unobtainable in base game and weapon stats outnumber the very best the base game has to offer 800-1300. Do you have any idea how insignificant it makes base gear?

You can go watch Fighting Cowboy. He got his ass handed to him until he gained 200 levels.

So I ask you then. When most the player base are in the DLC, where do you think most the pawn hires are hmmm?

Congrats on your one or two hires a session. You can have 10x that if you have a proper pawn in the DLC.

I have one more annoyance while exploring. There's some chests that are located in areas that are too high for some vocations to reach. So to get them I need to either be a Sorcerer and use levitate, be a Thief and do some wall jumps or use a harpy snare to get there.

Not too major an issue, but it's annoying that I can't collect everything when exploring and have to come back later.

Go jerk off while reading your own word salad

Your existence is irrelevant and I will not be paying it any more attention

People log on to post the dumbest ****

But then, we do get gems like this from Rayne :)

"There are 80b people on the planet. Its a given. "

Seems them immigrants have been hiding from the census folks.

Finished Modern Warfare 2019 again but this time on PS5. Fantastic game.

Started MW2 2022 and it looks, worse? Weird since this one is native PS5 unlike 2019.

Every COD since MW 2019 was a downgrade, MW3 was a bit better in terms of gameplay but still not even close to 2019 in both graphical fidelity and performance as well as gameplay. At least on PC, not sure about console.

That time again. MW4 Early access players...... Campaign now.
DMZ from the 20th.
Jou Ma se lobbies 23rd.
