"Alegedly". I know journalist have to be safe but times like this it irritates me.

The story is a bit closer than most. A close friends kids go to the school he attacked and one was in the locked classroom next door to where he attacked the little girl and he went around screaming and trying doors.

It's certainly not a case of allegedly here. Its now a question of what happens , especially considering the previous bombing attempt never went to trial.

Anyway, enough talking about this scum.

in the time they knew the suspect, he had experimented with several identities, including being gay, transgender, and a white supremacist
LMFAO, a venerable smartie box of mental disease, parents must be super proud :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

guess that explains the old south african flag, the interwebs told him it's white supremacy and it was a prop for his white supremacist phase

/facepalm

People are so scared of being sued for their TV licenses etc., when the state can't even control or monitor a known criminal. They needed the US who they hate so much to tell them what was going on. Really is a banana republic. Going to be interesting to see if the parents are found to have been negligent in any of this.

There's been a wave of teen violence across the world recently.

Some have linked it to a loosely organised online community based on glorifying nihilistic violence. Called "The Com".

He had been released from custody and was on probation after allegedly planting an improvised bomb in the food court of Ballito Junction Regional Mall.

The suspect had planted the bomb in March, and it failed to detonate. Police investigated the incident and only made an arrest in July.

It was found that the suspect had published a manifesto ahead of the attempted bombing, blaming external factors for his behaviour, including parental abuse and being rejected by a girl.

Despite the young man clearly being troubled, his case was not enrolled. On 13 October 2026, he entered The Creative Classroom school armed with a knife and a homemade gun.

Imagine if he did something very serious, like call black people monkeys. The entire SA security apparatus would have gone into full overdrive. The constitutional court would have cleared their roll and taken his case up urgently so he could be in prison for 2000 years, and be given a R10m fine to be paid to the Desmond Tutu foundation. Parliament would have had an emergency session to discuss this matter and condemn it. News24 would have scheduled a week long podcast show where they bring in experts to discuss the matter. DSTV would have created a dedicated channel to have all the events in one handy place.

And Huilgenoot will use their Oscar Pistorius layout scheme
