I really dont want these greedy companies to take the next step and say, you brought the game, we let you play it and all your progress is saved, provided you pay X every month to us.

the technology exists to make this possible right now, and somehow they have us all believing this is normal with spotify and netflix,
and its completely possible for them to go further and make it a live service game like the division

I really do hope Rockstar aint this dumb.
and that us PC people get some love and a PC version after the Console guys.

Agreed. That would be stupid.

I think the model of streaming music and TV shows are different to games.

We pay upfront for the games, and that’s thousands of rands. So we should have the right to “own” it in as much as any software you buy.

Having said that I don’t mind if they allowed pay per month to play games and stream them. Provided:

1. There are no upfront costs to “buy it”
2. It’s a monthly subscription like other services.

I can get behind that because then I can play GTA6. Finish it and move on. Total cost will be way cheaper than buying it.
 
Does anyone know if we buy the Physical Box with the Code when this will arrive? BT Games is saying on the 19th of November. I kinda wanted the box just for the nostalgia, but if it's only coming on the 19th I will rather buy it digitally as I do want to pre-load the game.

Give BT Games and the likes some time, they have no idea what they are talking about. They will be more on it closer towards launch. The physical boxes should be released by the 12th.

ok cool, yeah just last little bit of Nostalgia buying the game. Will give them till the 15th of November and if its still not in stock I will get the Digital version.

Koodoo told me they are shipping on the 12th of November so that there is time to preload
