And where was it?

The themed Airstream trailers at Old Mac Daddy in Grabouw were pretty funky, stayed there a few times years back.

  • The Lord Milner Hotel in Matjiesfontein, proper old school back in the day (not sure if its been modernised)
  • Camped at Retief's kloof in the Magaliesberg, was hard to get into but now I think its impossible.
  • Stayed at the Buffels Baai accommodation at Cape point. I think its more accessible nowadays but hard to book.

Zimbali Hotel
Zimbali Lodge (twice)
All before COVID when it was still a Fairmont Property
Flippen Awesome!

The Riveria on the Vaal
The Pilgrim Rest Hotel when it was still fine
Some places at various game reserves in SA, can't remember them cause I find game reserves yawn inducing and the company took me.
Oh the Lost Palace it was larney but fake feeling.

Did not stay over but when I was a lighty. When with the family to the Ostrich Farm (Oudtshoorn).

Rode one then ate one (burger). My younger sibilings could not do the latter.

A simpler time.
