Sorry looked for it, what was the issue? Do you have 3 years or 5 years on yours? My technician said they will clean the backlight paper to remove the black marks on the screen.

What? That's not a thing, dse is caused by light issues, layer separation or just an issue on the panel.

So they should replace the panel right? First time I've also heard about the cleaning of back light paper

They cleaned the back paper saying dust caused the black patches. Few weeks later there's now a black patch in another area. I've applied for a credit instead of repair? Anyone have any experience with Hisense on that?

What's the best equivalent to this TV today?
