Grand Theft Auto 6

"Sam Houser remains deeply involved in every aspect of GTA 6's creative development, according to the latest issue of EDGE magazine.

Houser helps shape the map, characters and story, and regularly plays the game alongside Rockstar's Rob Nelson to identify issues and improvements."

You can actually now ride buses as a passenger. A first in the series (going on a tour through Vinewood in GTAV doesn't count, I'm talking normal buses).

These are the little immersive things I love in games like this. Like riding in taxis, watching the world go by. Or like riding trams in the original Mafia. Still one of the biggest disappointments in GTA for me was when I found out you couldn't ride trams in San Andreas.

Hey guys, with this GTA VI pre-order where you get the code in the box when do they ship it?

Grand Theft Auto VI (PS5) - Code in Box

Wanted to get it for my friends birthday he got retrenched this year and can't afford it. But his bday is 16 November and wanted to give him the actual box. Anyone know when they going to ship these?
I think they mentioned something about the 12th of November, not sure if it's the same for koodoo though

Edit: Nevermind, so fine print on Koodoo says Pre-Orders are charged upon checkout and will be shipped the day before launch

Oh so that's their policy with GTA VI as well, weird when its just a code to redeem on PSN you would think they could ship it as you order.

More people in this world need friends like you.

They still had to manufacture the cases etc., and it’s Rockstar, so everything’s locked down. I haven’t seen any sneaky pics in the wild of those units being shipped out to retail yet either. Holding all pre-orders until the pre-load on the 12th also keeps the hype up.

But at the top of the item description they say

"Launch Date: 19 November 2026

This product will only contain a download code inside the box to support pre-load starting on November 12. A disc will not be included in the box."

How confusing.

They could have made it more clear yes, but it is not inaccurate. The launch date is the 19th. Preload starts the 12th. What they are yet to confirm is if they are sending it out on the 11th or the 12th.

This might get tiring very quickly.

So, the company chose to replace the quick loop of the previous games’ day-night cycle with something that takes far longer to pass through, making for longer nights and sunsets as time physically moves slower. NPCs are more reactive. You can still summon cars, but it won’t be as instantaneous as it was in GTA5 or even as summoning your horse was in Read Dead Redemption 2. If you want to summon a car in GTA 6, you can pay a modest fee to use the Scooter Bros app. After a few seconds, someone will drive up in your car before riding off on the scooter they brought with them. And while you can keep an arsenal of weapons in the trunk of your car, you can’t carry them all on your person.

Additionally, the company added narrative friction that prevents an immediate rush through the game’s story at a pace far too fast to feel realistic for the story being told. Rather than letting players race through the main story, immediately jumping from one mission to the next, the game introduces enforced downtime via requirements such as the need to raise cash for a new job to slow progression.
Going overboard on the realism . End of the day it's still a game and you need to do game things. Why didn't they just throw in the need to eat, take a schit and get 8 hours of real life sleep while they were at it...

Don't worry, there is a tune you can play on your Ocarina to make night into day....
