I vote according to proof and there is proof everywhere that the anc, eff, mkp and aSA are unable to be honest or unable to manage and are corrupt to the core and so they out.

I would add DA in Gauteng to that list as well. They're just as bad.

As mentioned, I don't vote, because it's it's math for the kind who use math to justify pain for others, and use parables of people driving a bus off a cliff, when in real life, the events leading to the outcome are somewhat different.

We know who @TheChamp is voting for, no surprise really... soort soek soort as they say in Afrikaans.

BS.... only councillors getting shiat done.

Voting for dinky, ineffective, wannabes achieves nothing other than diluting the vote and letting the cANCer continue to steal.

Not voting, at all, is a vote for the cANCer.

This is local, you should be voting for the counsellor or representative you engaged to work on issues, period. Its not far fetched or distant, this is a vote for your local hood.

Thats not true. Abstaining is a legitimate form of protest. When you have no people or parties that truly represent you, why would you vote for anybody? It's one of the only ways to communicate this dissatisfaction.

Pta has been deteriorating for years. Guess who's been in control for most of the last 10 years or so...

Service delivery has been at its worst and pretty much non-existant under useless Brink. But i guess that's anc's fault too somehow.

DA can do no wrong.

I am considering being a badass and spoiling my vote because there are only kuk parties.

It's one of the only ways to communicate this dissatisfaction.
No politician or political party is there for the feels and if this is your approach to life, you will lose. Repeatedly.

Not voting is absolutely you supporting the cANCer. End of story. Not voting means you also don't get to whine incessantly about the deterioration you've passively voted for.

Pta has been deteriorating for years
Pta was broken by the cANCer and expecting the DA to turn that around on a dime with zero cost is just delusional. The entire country is in the exact same boat. Show me any of the dinky parties that are going to magically fix this. I'll wait.

I never said any dinky parties will save pta. But not seeing anything wrong with the DA and blaming the ANC for DA incompetence and lack of service delivery is just like the ANC blaming apartheid for ANC failures. Can't keep blaming the anc forever.

I'm talking about the DA not fixing roads, not cutting grass and allowing grass to grow taller than adult men, not fixing lights, not keeping streets/parks etc clean, not fixing power failures on weekends, not maintaining substations, not maintaining or fixing a lot of things and allowing everything to fall apart and deteriorate. Can go on and on about DA uselessness in Pretoria. None of these things are the anc's fault when the DA is in control of the muni.

In my particular ward ou retired toppies have been cutting grass since the Brink days because the municipality refuses to do anything.

When did all of these arise?

Short term thinking deluxe right here.

the municipality refuses to do anything
So you said "yes" to higher rates and taxes to begin repairing the years of non-maintenance? Hah.

Who the hell was talking about feels? This is about principles and representation. You seem to be a little confused. You're conflating the consequences of abstaining with the intention behind it.

Not voting is absolutely you supporting the cANCer. End of story. Not voting means you also don't get to whine incessantly about the deterioration you've passively voted for.
No, not end of story. Not voting is an entirely valid choice, and it doesn't disqualify me, or anybody else, from anything. The mere fact that I'm a citizen guarantees my right to "whine" about anything I damn well please, especially the government. My right to protest a kak government is not conditional on whether I voted.

You seem to believe I "have" to endorse somebody regardless of whether or not I believe that they deserve my endorsement. Thats not an argument for democracy, thats an argument for compulsory political allegiance.

You're conflating the consequences of abstaining with the intention behind it.
Not at all. Your feelings are leading you to vote, passively,,for the cANCer. Zero confusion here. You are *choosing* the destruction, corruption and all the other noise the cANCer has sown.

Not voting is an entirely valid choice
It's a self destructive choice. Well done.

So let me get this straight: even if DA is in control for the next 600 years, you will continue to blame the ANC for the DA sitting around doing nothing and for everything breaking and not being fixed under the DA? The ANC is to blame for the lack of DA service delivery? Amazing.
